Welcome to Traveling on a Budget - Gallivant Tours Travel

Hey everyone — I’m Ty, currently residing in North Carolina, and the founder of Gallivant Tours Travel. If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s this: I love to move. Whether it’s a last‑minute road trip or a carefully planned getaway, I’m always ready to pack a bag, hit the road, and see something new.

Travel has always been my reset button — the thing that keeps me inspired, grounded, and curious. After years of exploring on my own, I decided to turn that passion into something bigger. That’s how Gallivant Tours Travel was born: a travel business built on real experiences, honest pricing, and the belief that adventure should be accessible to everyone.

This isn’t your typical travel blog full of vague descriptions and unrealistic budgets. I’m giving you the real deal — the exact way I travel, what I spend, what I love, and what I’d skip next time.

Every blog will include: travel time (how long it took to get there including delays, layovers or long drives), Mode of Transportation (car, plane, train, bus), Lodging (where I stayed, how much it cost and if it was worth it or not), Activities (things I personally did, things I could’ve done, what I recommended for different types of travelers), Weather (weather can make or break a trip, Type of vacation (relaxation, birthday, family vacation, nightlife, etc) and total cost breakdown.

I’m excited to share my journeys with you — the good, the unexpected, the funny, and the unforgettable. Whether you’re planning your first trip or your fiftieth, Gallivant Tours Travel is here to guide you every step of the way.

Stay tuned for my next post, where I’ll break down a full trip from start to finish — cost, activities, weather, and all.

Where should we go first?

“See more. Spend less. Gallivant everywhere.”
